I don’t know about everyone else out there but I am definelty ultra obsessive compulsive about my music collection. I always insist on having the best quality and best organized collection I possibly can. One of the hardest things to do is find quality album art work or cover art for your albums… enter Album Art Exchange. You can find them at http://albumartexchange.com and it has been my savior many times when looking for album art. So go and take a look all of you people out there that, like me, insist upon utter and complete music library perfection.

Ben Folds - Way to Normal …Amazing!

“Oh ma gorsh…” that is my review of Ben Folds new album that came out yesterday. It truly is amazing. If you haven’t already got a copy of this album you truly need to. Feel free to comment or email me and I can help you out.
Ben Folds has once again taken his beautiful music to another level. I think that he truly has done an incredible job on this album. Another thing to check out are the music videos. If you happen to know of Tim and Eric you will be happy to know that that “zanny, wacky, sometimes crappy” duo has directed the music video for the song “You Don’t Know Me” featuring Regina Spektor. Check out the video below. And if you haven’t already got this fantastic album go now and get it. It is, thus far, my favorite album of the year.

The Police: Live In Concert

Yes indeed, that is correct. I had the privilege last night of seeing The Police live in concert. Yes I know, it is an amazing blessing. Oh and what an experience! Let me tell you! It is one of those concerts that I have wished to see for oh so many years. I love The Police and have loved them for oh so long. It’s one of those concerts that I will be proud to brag to my kids some day and say….
“Yes, your father has seen The Police. Yes! It’s true! I saw them live, in person. No they weren’t dead! No! They were amazing! Too bad you couldn’t have lived when true music was still alive.”
Okay, okay, that is a little harsh. But it truly was an amazing show. I wish you could have all been there with me. It truly rocked my socks off. Check back for a short video from the show but for the meantime, hit the jump or if you already have, check out the pictures below. Oh and my thanks goes out to Nikki, Phil, and Ashley for coming with me. Enjoy!

Jordin Sparks: Live In Concert - 6.25.8

When Bob asked me if I wanted to go to this concert I honestly did not know who Jordin Sparks was… but I now know that she won American Idol a couple of years ago. The show was alright but the best part was simply hanging out with the friends… that and the free food that comes with the VIP tickets that we got! So thank you Bob and Desi… I owe you guys a dinner… some day. Hanyway, I hope that you enjoy the video and the pictures. Until next time… enjoy!

Song of the Month: Weezer - Greatest Man That Ever Lived

Yep I am a Weezer lover and my current favorite song for this month is from their up and coming Red Album! Woot woot! The song is entitled ‘Greatest Man That Ever Lived’. I’ve embedded it down below and I have to admit that I am majorly addicted! The CD comes out tomorrow and I promise that I will be buying. Take a listen, I agree with my good friend Phil Hudson, he feels that it has a Beatle-esque type of sound to it. I find the various rhythms in the song hypnotic yet exhilarating. Take a listen and let me know what you think. Enjoy!
