Holi Festival of Colors 2008

Another sweet-o year at Holi (the Festival of Colors for you uneducated people). For those of you who don’t know of Holi, it surely is the highlight of my month of March. Here is Utah it takes place at the Sri Sri Radha Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork (check out their website: utahkrishnas.com). Holi as good ole Wikipedia puts it is…

“a popular Hindu spring festival, bonfires are lit at night to signify burning the demoness Holika [and] people spend the day throwing colored powder and water at each other.”

Here are some of the nifty pictures that we got while celebrating with our Krishna brethren.

You can view, download, or do whatever with any of these pictures on Picasa, Flickr or Facebook.

We were also on the news and there are a few shot of the friends and I, here are the links to the videos… Fox13, Deseret News, and The Daily Herald.
Enjoy!

Oh oh! P.S.
Check out jarviedigital.com he got some sweet pictures. If you went, take a look-see and see if you can find yourself… as for my companions, we’re in there a few times. Loads-o-fun! See you all there next year!
